The past week the Hospers public school was called on to mourn the loss of one of its most beloved students, Tena Oosterhuis, who died in a hospital in Sheldon. Tena was in the 7th grade and her sunny disposition and cheerful smile will be sadly missed by the teacher, Mr. Henry Noorhof, and the students. The girls of the room attended the funeral in a body and the room sent flowers together with a tribute and message of sympathy signed by all the pupils.

The school and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Oosterhuis, parents of Tena, extend their deepest sympathy in their hour of bereavement. We also regret that this family is moving out of the county, but they will find solace and comfort in their new home and among new friends.

It is always sad that one so young and with so many hopes should be taken from family and friends but this we know, that “God Doeth All Things Well,” and such a comfort for those who mourn the loss of a loved one.
