Bertha Oldenkamp, 85, of Boyden died Monday, January 1, at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont, Minnesota.

Memorial services were held Monday, January 8, at the First Reformed Church in Boyden. The Reverend Benson Den Hartog officiated with interment at the Sheridan Township Cemetery near Boyden.

Mrs. Oldenkamp was born March 19, 1910, in Ermelo, Gelderland, The Netherlands, the daughter of Frank and Henrietta (Koster) Mouw.

She came to America with her parents and four brothers and five sisters in 1920. They lived on the family farm south of Boyden.

She married William H. Oldenkamp on February 10,1932, at Boyden. They lived in the Boyden area for 52 years. In 1984, they both became residents of the Good Samaritan Center in George.

Mr. Oldenkamp died September 17, 1988, at George.

In April 1989, Mrs Oldenkamp transferred to the Lakeview Center. She was a member of the First Reformed Church in Boyden for over 60 years.

Survivors include her daughter and husband, Dorothy and Richard Auberg of Alexandria, Minnesota; son and his wife, Harm and Karen Oldenkamp of Fairmont, Minnesota; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Henrietta Wielenga and Gladys Bieser, both of Rock Rapids, Semona Huffman of Shelton, Washington, Minnie Den Hartog of Jackson, Minnesota, and Frances Hamilton of Sheridan, Wyoming; and a brother, Dick Mouw, of Murrieta, California.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.
