Funeral services for Harry Kessler held Saturday

Funeral services for Harry Kessler, 74, were held at St Chrysostom church at Canton, S. D. Saturday, September 11. Mr. Kessler, a former resident of Rock Valley, died at the Canton-Inwood hospital, Thursday, September 9, following a lingering illness. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kessler.

Surviving are his wife, Susan; five step children, Mrs. Frances Ver Mulm, Lawrence Aurit, Mrs. Ted Hamann of Rock Valley; Leo Aurit, Canton, S. D. and Mrs. Francis Lottman, Worthing S. D. Three half sisters, Mrs. Beulah McManigal, Sioux Falls, Mrs. Pearl De Young, Le Mars Mrs. Jennie Schultz, Whitten, S. D., two half brothers, Roy Kewley, Winner, S.D., and Bert Kewley, Sioux Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Fred and a half brother William Kewley. Burial was at Canton, S. D. Those attending services from Rock Valley were; Mrs. Frances Ver Mulm and son, Larry, Mrs. Ted Hamann and son Steven, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Aurit, Esther and Edward Buckley, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Moeller and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Graves.
