Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church at Boyden at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday for Mrs. Ben Mulder, 75, who died Saturday at the Sheldon Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Henry Schoon and burial was made in the Boyden Cemetery.

Mrs. Mulder, nee Lydia Houtsma, was born January 21, 1893, born Alida Houtsma in Sexbierum, Friesland, Holland. She was the daughter of Hendrik Houtsma and Jeltje Boutsma Houtsma. She arrived in America with her parents and siblings on April 21, 1904. Her husband preceded her in death August 15, 1958.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Gerrit Ver Meer and Mrs. Jake Elbers, both of Hull, and Mrs. Dick Noack and Mrs. Bernice Harms, both of Sheldon, one sister, Mrs. Andrew Dykstra of Fennville, Michigan; one brother, John Houtsma of Hospers; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
