Services held for Mrs. Henry C. Mouw

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 4, for Mrs. Henry C. Mouw of Maurice at the First Baptist Church in Sioux Center. She died of a heart ailment on August 2, at the Orange City hospital.

Anna (Faber) Mouw was born in the Netherlands on October 10, 1890, and came to the States in 1906.

She was married to Henry C, Mouw in January, 1911.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Jessie) Dykstra, Bigelow, Minnesota, Mrs. Wilbur (Pearl) Struiksma, Lakewood, California: one son, Cornelius of Sheldon; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Sam Faber of Orange City; two sisters, Mrs. Tunis Runia, Bigelow, Minnesota, and Mrs. Peter S. De Jong of Orange City.

Pallbearers were Bernard Mendering, Ray Weyen, John Vander Kieft, Harold De Graaff, Sharla De Graaff and Juanita Mendering, Mrs.Sam Dorhout was the accompanist.

Internment was in Sherman Township Cemetery at Maurice under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home. Reverend Marion De Jong and Reverend Jason Kortering were the clergymen.
