From the Rock Valley Bee, January 3, 1929:

G. B. Wall, Former Resident, Passed way

G. B. Wall, a former resident of Rock Valley, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. Byrnes, at Phillip, S.D., December 18. During the summer he had been visiting at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. W. Kessler, at Custer, S.D. and was enjoying good health there until about five weeks before his death, when he left Custer and went to Phillip.

Mr. Wall was well known in Rock Valley, having lived here and was in business here for several years, some twenty years or more ago. He went from here to Chamberlain, S.D., but visited his daughter here frequently.

His remains were taken to Chamberlain for burial beside his wife who preceded him in death several years ago. All his daughters were at his bed side at the time of his death.

He leaves to mourn his death two sons and three daughters, as follows: Jud Wall and Claud Wall, of Chamberlain, S.D.; Mrs. S. Byrnes, of Phillip, S.D.; Mrs. B. Hughes and Mrs. A. W. Kessler, of Custer, S.D.
