Before the close of the year, grim death made its appearance. Old lady Wandscheer passed away Monday morning. Her husband died a few months ago. So our pioneers pass away one by one. Mr. Wandscheer was that lady's second husband. Her first was Mr. Voordeman who is buried in LeMars. A number of children survive. The old people had accumulated much wealth. Funeral services were held Wednesday.
