Charles Linnan, the eleven year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Linnan died in a hospital at LeMars Saturday morning. Charles injured his knee some time ago catching onto bobs. The injury was slight but a few days later blood poison set in and an operation which followed could not save his young life. The remains were brought here Saturday and they were laid to rest on Monday. Rev. C.P. Conway had charge of the service. The bereaved family has the sympathy of this entire community.

Word was received here that a son of Supervisor Linnan fell from a sleigh hurting his knee, causing blood poison from which he died.
