Jacoba “Cora” Moret, 95, of Boyden died Tuesday, April 1, at the Good Samaritan Home in George.

Services were at 10:30 A.M. Friday, April 4, at the First Reformed Church in Boyden with the Reverend Matt Draffen officiating. Burial was in Sheridan Township Cemetery.

Mrs. Moret was born September 24, 1901, near Matlock, the daughter of Reinder and Jane (Rensink) Kamminga. She attended the Christian School in Boyden. She married Peter Moret on February 13, 1929, in Boyden. The couple farmed near Boyden for many years. They retired in 1961 and moved into Boyden. He died March 15, 1973, in Sheldon. She moved into the Good Samaritan Home in August 1990.

She was a member of the First Reformed Church, where she was the organist of 35 years, and the R.C.W.M. of the Church.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Lee and JoAnn of Boyden; a sister, Johanna Roetman of Orange City; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry; and a sister, Marie.
