A Very Sad Death
One of the saddest deaths it has ever been our lot to record occurred last Thursday morning at the home of J. H. Hutchinson when their little grandson Johnny, passed away, from that dread disease, diphtheria. Mr. and Mrs. John Hutchinson Jr, of Faulkton SD, came with their three small children a week previous to spend the Christmas holidays with their parents. The little fellow was ailing for several days before anything of a serious nature developed and when medical aid was summoned all that could be done could not save the little life.

The funeral services were held on the sidewalk in front of the Hutchinson residence on Thursday afternoon and the little form laid to sleep in Grace Hill cemetery. The bereaved father, mother and grandparents have the sympathy of the entire community.
