1880: Death notice of Roebert Luijmes: De Volksvriend, Died today after a prolonged illness my beloved husband Roebert Luijmes at the age of 28 years and more than 5 months leaving behind 2 children too young to understand their loss. He lived and died in Christ and fell asleep in the full belief that he belonged to Jesus, which helps to lessen my grief, Alida Luijmes, born Van Tol, Orange City, November 17, 1880.
