Ruth Millikan Law died Oct. 12, 2017 in Lake Forest, CA. after suffering a stroke.
Ruth Millikan was born in Hawarden. She attended school in Hawarden and graduated from high school in 1945. She attended Iowa State Teachers College (now UNI) and graduated in 1949. She taught school in Eldora, Ia. for a couple of years. She moved to CA. where she spent the rest of her life.

Her creativity and love of conversations will be missed.
She is survived by two daughters, Alison and Hilary; two brothers, Roger Millikan of Sioux Falls and Carl Millikan of Bruch Prairie, WA; grandchildren; great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by two brothers and her husband.
