The funeral of Grandma Hodge, who died at the home of her son, F. Hodge, at Farmer, South Dakota, was held at the Chapel at Hope Cemetery, Monday afternoon, December 17th. Mrs. Hodge suffered a paralytic stroke, from which she was unable to recover, due to her advanced age of 88 years. She made her home in this vicinity many years before going to South Dakota.

In addition to those mentioned, she is survived by four more daughters, Mrs. N. C. Kessler, of Doon; Mrs. J. Boyes, of Neepawa, Canada; Mrs. Geo. Vickers, of Sioux City; and Mrs. E. F. Kuhns, of Alexander, South Dakota; and several grand and great grand children.

Rev. L. F. Focht, of the M. E. church, at Rock Valley, conducted the services.
