Mr. John Lynch of Maurice died in the Le Mars Hospital last week. While his sickness had been looked upon with fear for some time none supposed the end was so near. He was an old resident and well and favorably known in this community and the kindest of words are spoken for his generous nature and kindly disposition to all at all times.

Mr. Lynch was fifty-eight years of age. His death was a sad blow to his wife, Ellen (Buckley) Lynch and family of two daughters, Elizabeth and Kathryn, as none cherished a father’s love more than this family.

The funeral was held from the Catholic Church last Friday at ten o’clock.
