Mr. Jack Andringa, age 78, of Hull, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at his residence.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, February 14, at 10:30am, at the Hull Protestant Reformed Church. The Rev. James Laning will officiate. Interment will be prior to the service at the Hope Cemetery in Hull. There will be a family prayer service on Wednesday, at 9:30am, at the church.

Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Tuesday, with the family present from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at the church. Arrangements are with the Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.

Jacob Marion was born on February 19, 1939, at Sanborn, the son of Jake and Reka (Van Dyke) Andringa. He was raised in Sanborn and graduated from Western Christian High School in Hull. On August 25, 1961, he married Hazel Jane Schierbeek in Phoenix, Arizona. They made their home in Phoenix until 1973, when they returned to Sanborn. In 1994, they moved to Hull.

He was a member of the Hull Protestant Reformed Church.

He was a self-employed truck driver.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of more than 56 years; four children and their spouses, J. T. and Sharon Andringa, of Bettendorf; Ted and Audra Andringa, of South Holland, Illinois; Jeff and Rose Andringa, of Hull; and Cassy and Justin Regnerus, of Orange City; twenty grandchildren, Josh Andringa, Alex Andringa, Jake (Anna) Andringa; Joe Andringa, Samantha Andringa, Ben Andringa, Noah Andringa, Vanessa Andringa, Thomas (Courtney) Andringa, Marcus (Paige) Andringa, Courtney Andringa, Zachary Andringa, Hilary Andringa, Jonathan Andringa, Daniel Andringa, Joseph Andringa, James Andringa, Jessica Andringa, Jaxon Regnerus, and Beau Regnerus; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim (Karen) Andringa, of Sanborn; and Ken Andringa, of Dewey, Arizona; and a sister, Trudy (Doug) Holloway, of Phoenix, Arizona.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, James Andringa.

Memorials may be directed to the Hull Protestant Reformed Elementary School
