Kenneth Ray Lucas, son of William and Marie (Van Dyke) Lucas passed away on Wednesday evening, December 15th at the Grossmann Hospital in Orange City. He had suffered with a heart condition since birth. He had reached the age of 2 years, 5 months and 13 days at the time of his death.

Kenneth was born July 2, 1952 at Slayton, Minnesota where the family resided at the time and just a year ago had moved to Hospers.

Funeral services were held from the First Reformed Church at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, December 20th with Reverend A. Hellinga in charge. Pallbearers were A. Heemstra, Bob Boersma, Harold Van Beek and Leonard Dekker. Burial took place in the Hospers Cemetery.
