Cornelis “Case” Lozenoord, 86, Hawarden died Wednesday at his residence east of town.

Services were at 1:30 P.M. Saturday in the Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden. The Reverend Dwight Rengstorf officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Ireton.

Mr. Lozenoord was born February 3, 1892, in The Netherlands. He spent six years in the Dutch Army during World War I and came to the United States in 1921. He became a citizen in 1927. He worked for Herman and Alfred Witt and spent the last 18 years with the Frank Buryandek family.

Survivors include relative in The Netherlands.
