Mr. Adolph Luchtenburg, 71, Ashton, died November 6, at his farm home. Services were at 1:30 P.M., November 9 in the United Methodist Church at Sibley, the Reverend Robert Martin officiating. Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City under the direction of the Walton Funeral Home of Sibley.

Mr. Luchtenburg was born May 21, 1903 at Orange City. He married Evelyn Borgman March 23, 1932. He farmed in the Orange City community and in 1936 moved to Ashton.

Survivors include the widow, two brothers, Leonard of Dundee, Minnesota, John of Edgerton, Minnesota; six sisters, Mrs. Neal (Jessie) Blake of Hawaii; Mrs. C.B. (Diana) Verdoorn of Ashton, Mrs. John (Blanche) Zevenbergen of Baldwin, Wisconsin, Mrs. Bernard (Christina) Vander Aarde, Mrs. Herman (Mina) Fedders and Mrs. Robert (Ellen) Bonnecroy, all of Orange City.
