Mrs. John Holmes Dies Suddenly
Word was received in town just before dinner that Mrs. John Homes and suddenly died, the supposed cause being apoplexy. A fuller account of her death and burial will appear next week. She was on of our oldest settlers one of the homesteaders. (checked the next week no obit noted)

Note: According to an ancestry.com report Mary Jane Sizeland born 16 Oct 1844 Stratford Ontario Can. Died 22 Feb 1901 Sheridan Tsp. Sioux county IA. The daughter of William Sizeland 1821 and Margaret Wilson 1823.
