Daniel Lee Lechtenberg, 45, Granville, died Wednesday in a truck accident at Jackson, Minnesota.

Services were held Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Granville. The Reverend Edward Hoffmann officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery under the direction of Fisch Funeral Home at Remsen.

Mr. Lechtenberg was born August 16, 1933, at Granville. He married Bernice Becker September 24, 1957, at Hospers. He was owner and operator of Lechtenberg Poultry Service.

Survivors include the widow; one daughter, Lynn at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo and Cleo (Tritz) Lechtenberg of Granville; one brother, James of Le Mars; five sisters, Mrs. Orville (Norma Jean) Schuster of Le Mars, Mrs. Donald (Georgia) Becker of Granville, Mrs. Gerald (Lorna) Hatting of Ashton, Mrs. Orville (Mary Ann) Pottebaum of Alton and Mrs. Jeff (Janet) Zwagerman of Sibley.
