Funeral services for Mrs. Magdalena Langenhorst nee Hentges were held Monday, July 2 at St. Anthony’s Church in Hospers. Mrs. Langenhorst died Friday at the Le Mars Hospital. Monsignor George Theobold officiated at the services and burial was in the parish cemetery. The rosary was recited Sunday evening in St. Anthony’s Hall.

Mrs. Langenhorst was born April 5, 1882 and was 80 years old at the time of her death. Her husband, Clem Langenhorst preceded her in death 21 years ago.

Survivors include three sons, Lawrence, Harold and Theodore; one daughter, Olivia, Mrs. Peter Niichel; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one brother, Charles Hentges of Alton.

Pallbearers were Art Wierks, Don Raak, Roland Walgenbach, Adrian Penning, Fred Lauters and Norbert Goergen.
