JOHN LANDHIUS DIES SUDDENLY IN HOSPERS

Mr. Jan “John” Landhuis of Hospers died suddenly on Wednesday following a gallstone operation. He has a large number of relatives in this vicinity. He owned a barber shop in Hospers as well as considerable other property, and was highly respected by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at the First Reformed Church and the home.

Note: His wife’s name was Aaltje “Ella” TeGrootenhuis Landhuis and his parents were Bertus and Lena (Fikkas ) Landhuis
