Isaac Hoeven - Funeral services are this Thursday afternoon at 1:30 in the First Reformed church, Sioux Center, for former Sioux Center postmaster Isaac Hoeven who died Monday following a long illness.

The Rev. Jack Boerigter will officiate and interment will be at the Newkirk cemetery. Mr, Hoeven was born at Newkirk where his parents were early settlers Jan. 21, 1882. He married Hermina Van Driel Oct 12, 1916, and was in the hardware business many years before becoming postmaster in which position he served from 1935 to 1952.
Survivors include the widow; a son, Evert of Tucson, Ariz, and a daughter Wilma, Mrs. Henry
