Mrs. Bertha Lamb, 74, of Onawa died Saturday night in the hospital at Onawa after an illness of several months.

Bertha Brooks was born June 19, 1878, at Monmouth, Illinois to George and Mary (Suttan) Brooks. She married George Lamb September 26, 1894. After her marriage the family lived in Hawarden for many years. They went to Onawa 19 years ago where Mr. Lamb died in 1939.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Cecile I. Bonney of Roseville, California, Mrs. Hazel L. Rose of Modesto, California, and Mrs. Lola L. Lueninghoener of Onawa; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Kempton of Springfield, Oregon, and Mrs. Celesta Renwanz of Michigan; a brother, Herman Brooks of Toledo, Oregon, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the First Christian Church in Onawa. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden under the direction of the Barnard Funeral Home.
