Mrs. Marion Kuyper, 80, of Sioux Center, died Friday at the Sioux Center Hospital.

Services were at 10:30 A.M. Monday in the Carmel Reformed Church. The Reverend Virgil Dykstra officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Kuyper, the former Marie Berdena Remmerde, was born February 24, 1903 to Hubert and Anna (DeRoos) Remmerde at Carmel, where she was raised and attended school. She married Marion Kuyper April 27, 1923, at Carmel. They resided in the Carmel community. Mr. Kuyper died in 1977.

She was a member of the Carmel Reformed Church.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Henry (Eleanor) Hooyer of Sheldon, Mrs. Donald (Anna Mae) Dykstra of Hull, Mrs. James (Mildred) Wassenaar of Orange City and Mrs. Wilmer (Marilyn) Rensink of Sioux Center; one son, Herbert of Sioux Center; two brothers, John of Rock Valley and Robert of Sioux Center; and three sisters, Mrs. John (Tracy) Prins and Mrs. Harry (Elizabeth) Prins, both of Sioux Center and Mrs. Luke (Tilda) Van Berkum of Rock Valley; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
