MRS. MEES VAN BEEK DEAD

Mrs. Mees Van Beek passed away at her home south of Rock Valley, Tuesday forenoon, following an illness of several months, her death being due to anemia.

The subject of this sketch was born in Netherland, March 7, 1896, and was thirty years, six months and twenty-one days old. She came with her parents to this country when she was six years old. They lived two years in Orange City and from there came to this vicinity, where she has since resided. She was united in marriage in the year of 1915 to Mees VanBeek, who is left to mourn.

She also leaves her father, John Pater, of Rock Valley; and three sisters, Mrs. Gerrit Van’t Hul, of Rock Valley; Mrs. John VanderBilt, Santa Ana, California; and Mrs. John Koedam, Rock Valley; and five brothers, Maas, John, Ed, and Gys Blankespoor, of Rock Valley, and Henry Blankespoor, of Hull.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 o’clock at the home and at 1:30 o’clock at the Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley.
