J.L. Pheifer passed away last Monday afternoon. Deceased was born at Holbert, Netherlands eighty-five years ago. He was married at that place and in 1885 the family came to America and located in South Dakota. Six years later they moved to a farm near Prinsburg, Minn., where they resided ten years, and then came to this place where deceased has since made his home. The funeral was held on Thursday afternoon. Rev. Engelsman conducting the services.
