Helm was born Sept 1882 died 20 Jul 1883 Calliope Sioux IA, daughter of George Roswell Hem 1852-1937 and Josephine M. Wilson 1851-1933. They were married 11 Aug 1872 in Settlers Tsp. Sioux County IA. Other children were Lillian 1873, Clyde 1878, Ida 1879, and Bessie 1888.
