CHARLES EUGENE HEILIGER
Funeral services were held Monday, February 15, at Grace Lutheran church Primghar, for Charles Eugene Heiliger, 59, former Sioux Center resident, who died February 11 at Baum-Harmon hospital, Primghar. The Rev. Gerald Dykstra of the American Reformed church of Primghar officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery, Hull, under the direction of the Gaudlan Funeral Home.

Mr. Heiliger, son of the late Philip and Esther Heiliger, was born March 10 1910 at Sheldon. He was married to Jennie Koele Douma June 28, 1937. For 12 years prior to his retirement in May 1970 because of ill health he had been employed at Kuipers Food and Lockers, Sanborn. He was also for formerly employed at Vreeman Meats and Locker;, Sioux Center.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie of Primghar; one daughter, Elaine, at home; one step-son, Kenneth Douma, Sioux Center; one step-daughter, Mrs. Pete (Dorothy) Kaissen, Lakewood, Calif.; one sister. Mrs. Jossie Harbst, Sheldon, and six grandchildren.
