LAST RITES FOR LEO KOOB HELD AT GRANVILLE LAST THURSDAY

Leo Koob, 48, died Monday evening in St. Vincent Hospital, Sioux City, following a brief illness.

He was born July 27, 190, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barney and Anna (Drees) Koob, on a farm near Granville. He attended St. Joseph School, was in the service in World War II, and since was employed with the Mrs. Mary Konz family on the farm and made his home with them.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 9:30 at St. Joseph Church, Reverend N.J. Becker officiating at the Requiem Mass. Burial was in the family plot in St. Joseph Cemetery.
