Funeral Services--For Hank Koele Set For Monday

Funeral services for Mr. Hank Koele will be held on Monday afternoon. November 10 at the home at 1:00 o'clock and at the First Reformed Church at 1:30 o'clock. Mr. Koele passed away on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock of a heart attack, while sitting outside the doctors office at Sioux Center. He had reached the age of 66 years that day.

Mr. Hank Koele was born at Hospers, Iowa, November 4, 1886 and died on November 4, 1952, of a heart attack. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 10, from the home and First Reformed Church in charge of his pastor, Reverend William De Jong.

The following feel the loss of a devoted husband and father: his wife, Mary (Roggen) Koele, and 12 children, Arie, Mrs. Gerrit Mouw, Mrs. Edward Kragt, Mrs. Otto Bouma, Gerald, Marion, Mrs. Elmer Raman, Harold, Faith and Wayne of Hull; Mrs. Keith Auman of Bellflower, California, and John in service in Germany. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; five brothers, Dick, Egbert, Jake and Henry of Hull and John of Bellflower, California; three sisters, Mrs. William Faas of Sanborn, Mrs. John Gunnink and Mrs. G. L. Leusink of Wisconsin.

Pall bearers were three former neighbors, Herman Vant Hul, Bert Brock and Gerrit J. Te Slaa, and three present neighbors, William Vander Wilt, George Stance and George Meerdink.
