Otto Koch, a former Alton resident, passed away at Martinez, California Sunday, March 2, after an illness of several months.

Mr. Koch was born to Joseph and Elizabeth (Schneider) Koch at Alton March 1, 1900 and he attended Alton schools. He moved to California in 1938 and was employed by an oil company in Martinez.

The remains will arrive in Le Mars Thursday. Friends may call at the Wiltgen-Luedtke Funeral Home Thursday evening. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Church in Alton with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Mr. Koch was never married. He is survived by two sisters: Mrs. Josephine Ahlers of Granville and Mrs. Peter N. Wiltgen of Le Mars, and by three brothers, Peter Koch of Martinez, California and John and Joseph Koch of Marshall, Minnesota.
