After being ill only a few days with Flu-Pneumonia, Case Koele, a former Hull boy, living two miles west and one and one-half miles north of Sanborn, died last Friday morning, and was buried at Hull, Monday.

Case "Cornelius" was born on a farm near Hospers in 1888 and was, at the time of his death, 39 years, 3 months and 8 days old. He was a loving husband and father and a good neighbor and his departure will be felt very keenly.

Mr. Koele was married in March, 1910, to Miss Jennie Groen, and to this union six children were born all of whom, with the wife, survive him, namely: Jake, Jeanette, Mathilda, Henry, Marion and Clarence.

Besides the immediate family he is survived by his aged mother, Mrs. Henry Koele of Hull, seven brothers and three sisters, namely: Nick and Dick of Hull; Egbert, of Boyden; Jake of George; Hank of Hull; Coba, Mrs. William Vos of Sanborn; Mary, Mrs. John Gunnink, of Lake View, South Dakota; John, of Hull; Hattie, Mrs. Gerrit J. Leusink, of Lake View, South Dakota; and Henry, of Hull.

Funeral services wore held at the home and at the First Reformed Church at Sanborn, Monday afternoon, after which the remains were brought to Hull for burial in Hope Cemetery. The services at Sanborn were conducted by the family pastor, while a few words were spoken at the grave, here, by Reverend Douwstra.
