Mrs. Gertrude Fisher, 94, of Orange City died Thursday in a nursing home on George.

Services were at 10A.M. Friday, October 19 in the American Reformed Church in Orange City. The Reverend Marlin Vander Wilt officiated. Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation was from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Thursday in the Etten-Oolman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fisher, the former Gertrude Klein, was born July 26, 1890 at Orange City. She married Dr. Edward Fisher January 1, 1914. At Orange City, He died in May 1950.

She was a member of the American Reformed Church where she taught Sunday School where she taught Sunday School and Catechism. She served as executive secretary of Sioux Land Sunday School Association for 46 Years. She served as secretary and treasurer of the Sioux City Gospel Mission for 38 years where she was the editor of the Cheerful Giver.

Survivors include one son, Dr. Robert of Mesa Arizona; one brother, Henry Klein of Orcutt, California; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
