Died: December 3, 1962Mrs. Lizzie Klein, 88, died Monday, December 3 in the Flandreau Nursing Home in Flandreau, South Dakota.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the Christ Lutheran Church at Alvord. Reverend Duane Manson will officiate. Interment will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery at Hull under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home.
Lizzie (Meyer) Klein was born on March 6, 1882 at Monticello to John and Magda (Flitch) Meyer.
She was baptized and confirmed as a youth and made her home in the Monticello area until 1903.
She was married to August Klein of Doon on December 29th, 1903. They moved to a farm two miles south of Doon and two sons were born to this union. They retired from farming in 1928 and made their home in Doon.
