Mrs. Lydia Hausman
The funeral of Mrs. Lydia Hausman was held at St. John Lutheran Church Tuesday, December 13. Pastor P. A. Hinrichs officiated. Casket Bearers were Henry Hundt, Richard Kruse, Con Krahling, J. C. Hollander, Wm. Schroder and Herman Meyer. Interment was made in the Boyden cemetery.
Mrs. Hausman had been a resident of Boyden since 1949 when she and her husband retired from the farm 5 miles north of Boyden. Mr. Hausman however passed away the following year. The past two years Mrs. Hausman was not able to live alone anymore, and she took up her residence with her children, the Ed Hausmans and the Fritz Kruse in Rushmore and Lcota, Minnesota, respectively.

Mrs. Hausman was born April 10, 1891, in Uniontown, Missouri. She entered into marriage with Edward Hausman from the same vicinity in 1916. The same spring the young couple moved to the Boyden community where they resided on the farm until retirement. Mrs. Hausman died in the Adrian, Minnesota, hospital December 8, at 6-00 p.m.

The immediate survivors are Edward Hausman and his wife and son Harlan, and Mrs. Fritz Kruse and her husband and children, Marlys, Norman, Leon, Dennis, Eugene, Doyle, Roy and Twila.
Also three brothers and two sisters survive her.
