Died: 1968Funeral services for Gerrit John Klein, 72, longtime Sioux Center area resident, were Tuesday in the Central Reformed Church there. Mr. Klein died Saturday in Sioux Center Hospital after a long illness.
He was born March 16, 1895 in the Netherlands and came to Sioux Center at age 14. He married Jennie Lockhorst June 5, 1924 in Orange City.
Survivors include the widow; three sons: Herman of Sioux Center, Karl of Le Mars and John of Yokohama, Japan; one daughter, Mrs. George Day of Bigelow, Minnesota; three sisters: two brothers; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
