Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Church Friday morning, September 2 for Mrs. Peter Klein, 59, who passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital, Sioux City, Monday evening following a lingering illness.

The Solemn Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Reverend L. N. Klein, assisted by Reverend George Wessling as deacon, Reverend J. J. Dalhoff, sub-deacon, and Reverend Zeno Reising, Master of Ceremonies.

Catherine Hodapp was born November 30, 1895, near Granville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hodapp.

February 4, 1919, she was united in Holy Matrimony with Peter Klein, and they resided on a farm south of Granville until a few years ago when they retired and moved to town.

Surviving are the widower; 2 sons, Hilary and Charles and one daughter (Rosemary) Mrs. Leo Braun of Granville. Also 2 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, 1 brother and 2 sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 3 sons, and one grand- daughter.

Pallbearers were Arnold Muehl, Jack Noy, Joe Kokenge, Tony Auchstetter, A.J. Obermann and Leonard Howard. Internment was made at the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Fisch Funeral Home.

Many relatives and friends attended from a distance.
