DEATH OF MRS. NELLIE DROK

Mrs. Nellie Drok died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. Blankespoor, south of Rock Valley Tuesday night, April 13. She had not been well for the past three years and she gradually became weaker and continued to fail until the final summons came.

Mrs. Drok was born in Holland, June 3, 1856, where she grew to womanhood. She came to this country about thirty years ago, and the family lived near Sioux Center, later moving to Rock Valley, where they lived for several years. They also spent two years at Hull.

Mrs. Drok leaves her husband, K. Drok, and two daughters, Mrs. E. Blankespoor, and Mrs. John Blankespoor, both living in this vicinity. She was a woman of good Christian character and was highly respected by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held in the First Reformed Church in Rock Valley, Friday afternoon, and the remains were taken to Valley View Cemetery.
