Former resident dies in Minnesota

Cornelius Gaalswyk a former resident of this Community died at the age of 75 years and 36 days, in the Community hospital Fairmont, Minn.

Funeral services were held February 19 in the Evangelical Covenant church and burial was Cedar Hill cemetery Fairmont, Minn.

Cornelius (Neal) Gaalswyk was born January 1, 1887 in New Vennep, Netherlands, son of Teunis and Maria Gaalswyk.

He came to America in March 1903, and married Cornelia Bakker February 13, 1911 at Rock Valley, eleven children were born to this union.

He leaves to mourn his wife, three daughters, eight sons, 44 grandchildren, one great grandchild, his brother Arie and many nephews and nieces.
