Funeral services for Mrs. Arie Kersbergen of Sioux Center, who died February 3, after an illness of nearly nine months, will be held at 1 o’clock at the home and 1:30 in the Second Christian Reformed Church here, with Reverend Vander Wiede officiating.

Burial will be at the Lebanon Cemetery under the arrangements of the Cooperative Burial Association.

Mrs. Arie Kersbergen, nee Marie Cornelia Johanna "C.J." Van Santen, was born February 24, 1876, and was married to Arie Kersbergen December 24, 1902. To this union were born four children, all of whom survive. They are Jay Kersbergen of North Bend, Nebraska, Mrs. C. Vreugdenhil of Sioux Center, Major Garrett Kersbergen in the Armed Forces on his way to Japan and Mrs. Ed Harskamp of Sioux Center, Also survive are nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, one sister and four brothers. One brother, C.E. Van Santen lives in Rock Valley. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
