Henry N. Kellen, former Granville resident, died Tuesday evening in a Sioux City Hospital. Mr. Kellen was born May 23, 1894 at Alton, Iowa. He married Dorothy Kokenge April 14, 1920. She died November 3, 1966.

Mr. Kellen operated an Oil Business in Granville until he moved to Sioux City in 1944, where he worked as a yardman for M-B Cattle Company at the Sioux City Stockyards until his retirement in 1974.

Survivors include a son, Carl of Sioux City; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Bernice) Gohab of Danbury, Iowa and Miss Arleen Kellen of Omaha, Nebraska; two brothers, George of Alton and Edwin of Mesa, Arizona, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Kellen were held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton with the Reverend Mervin Hood Officiating. With burial in the parish cemetery.
