Mrs. Frank (Mildred) Kelhower, 51, a life long resident of Hawarden, died Saturday morning in the Hawarden hospital after a long illness.

Funeral service were held at the Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Monday with Reverend C.E. Custer officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hout, she was born May 29, 1908. She married Frank Kelhower of Hawarden in 1925. She was a member of the Hawarden Methodist Church.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Larry and Donald both at home; her mother Mrs. Ethel Hout of Hawarden; three brothers Clyde Hout of Pitkin, Los Angles, Harold Hout of Hawarden and Frank Hout of Riverside, California; three sisters Mrs. Evelyn Maki of Seattle, Washington, Mrs. Ella Boyer of Hudson, South Dakota, and Mrs. Cora Collins of Hawarden.

Clyde Hout of Pitkin, Los Angles, and Mrs. Maki of Seattle, Washington, came to attend the funeral.
