Arthur De Wild of Hull, who has been spending a few weeks at the home of his sister Mrs. D. Wissink at this place, was attacked with appendicitis last week. On Saturday he underwent an operation and died that evening. Deceased was ten years of age and is survived by his parents and brothers and sisters, all of whom were present at his death-bed. Brief services, conducted by Rev. Engelsman, were held at the D. Wissink home on Monday morning after which the remains were taken to Hull for interment.
