Mrs. Abe Levering, 88, Sioux Center, died Tuesday, April 8, in the Sioux Center Community Hospital.

Services were at 10:30 A.M. Friday in the First Reformed Church at Maurice. The Reverend E.R. Vougd officiated. Burial was in Sherman Township Cemetery at Maurice under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Levering, the former Winnie Van Olst, daughter of L. Van Olst and Cora (VanderWaa) Olst was born October 15, 1891, at Orange City.

She was married October 15, 1914, at Orange City and she and her husband lived at Maurice. Mr. Levering died in 1962. She moved to Sioux Center in 1973.

Survivors include a son, Harold of Fultonville, New York; a daughter, Mrs. John (Vera) Brouwer of Maurice; three sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Graber, Mildred Hains and Myrtle Willsie, all from Inverness, Florida; two brothers Egbert of Santa Cruz, California and Henry of Lancaster, California; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
