The body of Mrs. Mary Gilmer arrived here from Lake View Saturday evening and was taken to, the Gilmer farm, the home of her son two miles north of town, where the funeral was held Sunday afternoon.. Mrs. Gilmer died Friday afternoon from typhoid fever, she is survived by her aged husband and seven children, all of whom were present at the funeral.

The children are J. A. Gilmer of Ireton, J. B. Gilmer of Schaller, I. W. of San Diego, Calif., Mary A. and Effie of Pasadena, Calif., L. B. of Minneapolis and Anna. L. who has been living at home. Mr. and Mrs. Gilmer lived in this vicinity for a great many years and only last month purchased the dwelling of W. J. Reid and he will move back here the first of March. Mrs. Gilmer was a woman of many excellent traits. Rev. Masters had charge of the funeral.
