Miss M. Goebel Dies At Granville Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Granville, at 9:30, Rev. N. J. Becker officiating, for Miss Matilda Goebel, 84, Wednesday.

She passed away at her home in Granville Sunday.
She was born April 14, 1878 at New Vienna, Iowa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Goebel and came with her parents to this community over 70 years ago. (Mother Cahterine Heying)

Surviving are one brother, John Goebel of Granville, two sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Klein of Granville, and Mrs. Martha Wernke of Luxemburg, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters. Rosary was recited Tuesday evening at Spalding Hall, Granville. Burial was in St. Joseph cemetery. ,
