Funeral services for Mrs. William Jurgensen, 61, who died at the University Hospital in Iowa City Saturday, were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Associated Church, Reverend John C. Thorns officiating. Interment was at Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Barnard Funeral home.

Mrs. Jurgensen had undergone surgery at Iowa City five weeks ago. Since then she had suffered a number of heart attacks.

Emma Lage was born January 26, 1896, on a farm near Hawarden, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Lage. In 1914 she married William Jurgensen and the couple made Hawarden their home. Mrs. Jurgensen was a member of the Woodsmen Circle.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Erma Allison and Mrs. Ruth Dodge, both of Los Angeles, Mrs. Dorothy Carr of Sioux City and Mrs. Phyllis Warner of Hawarden; three sons, Donald and Warren, both of Sioux Falls and Milo of Los Angeles; a brother, Claus Lage of Chandler, Arizona; a sister, Mrs. Ella Farrington of Los Angeles, 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
