Mrs. Tymen Juffer, 82, died early Sunday morning at her home in Sioux Center, a longtime resident of that community.

She was the stepmother of Mrs. Jim Mulder of Alton.

Jansje Kamps was born in Drenthe, Netherlands, March 24, 1873. She came to America as a young woman and lived in Canada for a time.

She was married at Sioux Center March 2, 1916 to Tymen Juffer, a widower with four small children, lately arrived in the United States from the Netherlands.

The children were brought up with great devotion, as her own. They are Winnie, Mrs. John M. Vande Berg and Anna, Mrs. William G. Vanden Berg, both of Sioux Center; Gerrit Juffer of Ireton; Gertrude, Mrs. James Mulder of Alton. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 31 great- grandchildren; one brother, Steven Kamps and a sister, Mrs. Engberts, both residing in the Netherlands.

Her husband preceded her in death on November 5, 1936.

Funeral services were held at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Sioux Center Tuesday afternoon, with interment in the local cemetery. Reverend R. Venema officiated and pallbearers were six grandsons; Theo and Maurice Vande Berg, Gary Vanden Berg, Preston Juffer, Herman G. Juffer, Theo Vanden Berg.
