From the Alton Democrat, October 9, 1925, Rock Valley news:

The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Henningfield died Monday morning after a brief illness. There are the father and mother and four sisters surviving.

His death certificate gives his name as Louis Henningfield, born May 6, 1925 in Rock Valley; parents Laurence Henningfield, born Rock Valley, and Adriana Mispallar, born Hospers, Iowa; died Oct. 6, 1925, 10:30 a.m., cause diarrhea and enteritis, duration 4 or 5 days; buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rock Valley.

He does not appear in the Sioux County Cemetery Index. His parents appear with the surname spelled Henningfeld, father’s name spelled Lawrence. Their obituaries (posted separately) give Adriana’s birth name as Van Misplaar.
